Naesa was very welcoming and their knowledge and enthusiasm for Cork and it’s history was infectious. I did the walking tour with friends on a birthday trip to Cork. Naesa personalised the tour and was happy to answer questions and also gave recommendations on other places to visit in the city. Would highly recommend the walking tour to anyone visiting to find out a little about the history of Cork and to help get your bearings in the city.

I had the pleasure of taking the tour on 19th January and I had a lot of fun! Cork is a lovely city, but more importantly, Neasa is a great guide! Her approach was very personal and full of character, far from the dry listing of facts that some guides limit themselves to. She taught us a little bit of Gaeilge, joked around and pointed out details that we would have surely missed or never learned about. I didn’t have much time to spend in Cork and I’m really glad I spent it on this tour – it left me eager to see more when I come back! To use an expression that I heard from Neasa (in a slightly different context) – the tour was “super fine”!

On a short visit to Cork, it was great to have this friendly and informative tour to get a sense of what the city is about. It was a pleasure to spend 90 minutes in the company of Neasa, the tour guide. A lot of the quirks and oddities of the architecture and history of the city are not readily visible to a visitor and this tour gave a fascinating insight into the life of the city, past and present. Would highly recommend it.
